To best serve the diverse needs of the child care professionals in the state, T.E.A.C.H. MISSOURI has created three main scholarship models. The scholarship models are based on the educational goals of the applicant, and the support of the sponsoring employer. Find the model that is right for you and your child care employer.<\/p>\n

Entry Associate Degree Scholarships<\/strong> are most often used by teachers, directors, and owners wishing to earn college credits as an introduction to early childhood education, or early childhood special education at Missouri 2-year colleges. It can also be used to complete required credits towards a specific goal such as Missouri Director Certification, Child Development Associate Credential, or Accreditation. Associate Degree Scholarships<\/strong> are for teachers, directors, and owners seeking an Associate degree, AA, AAS, or AAT in early childhood education or early childhood special education. Both general education and early childhood courses are supported at Missouri 2-year colleges. Bachelor Degree Scholarships<\/strong> are most often used by teachers, directors, and owners wishing to take early childhood and general education courses towards a Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education or early childhood special education. Both general education and early childhood courses are supported at Missouri 4-year colleges.
